I remember back when I lived in Australia these Datsuns (this one and the 120Y) were bywords for horror.

Nice spotting. My dad bought one of these at the beginning of the last decade - sold in NA as the Datsun 610:

Picked it up for under $100 out of an estate, freshened it up, put it back on the road. He always liked to have a fun old car or two around, and he liked the thing as an in-town car (small town), a little iffy on the highway due to lack of speed, and very thin body panels. Sadly, after he passed, the car was sold, and the next owner wrecked it. One less survivor, making the number close to zero now.
